Y’know, I’m just gonna come right out and say it.

Fox News has a long history of doing this kind of thing. “Oops, we made a tiny boo-boo and put a ‘D’ next to somebody who embarrasses the Republican Party.” They did it with Mark Foley, Duke Cunningham and Scooter Libby (I couldn’t readily find a screencap of the latter two; Google if you’re interested).

It has happened altogether too often for any reasonable person to believe it’s a simple mistake. To my knowledge, no other major network makes those kind of mistakes with that kind of frequency. So either Fox News is being cute, or they’re just fucking incompetent.

In my estimation, it’s deliberate.
